Corian Worktops & Solid Surface, Made to Measure in Dorset

At MSO Joinery we design, fabricate and fit Corian worktops and solid surface worktops across Dorset — for kitchens, bathrooms and busy commercial spaces. Every surface is cut, shaped and joined by hand in our Poole workshop, then fitted to the millimetre so the result feels like one continuous piece of material rather than a run of separate slabs.

Solid surface is an acrylic-based composite, and that is where its magic lies. Joints are bonded and sanded back until they disappear, edges can be built up or curved, and a sink or drainer can be moulded straight into the top with no rim to trap grime. The finish is warm to the touch, non-porous and genuinely seamless.

We work in Corian and the finest equivalents — Hi-Macs, Hanex and LG — so we can match the colour, thickness and detail your project calls for, whether that is a soft-white island top in Poole or a hardwearing reception counter in Bournemouth.

Seamless Corian kitchen worktops with integrated sinks

For kitchens, a Corian kitchen worktop lets us lose every join. Long runs, returns and window sills flow into one another with no visible seam, and we can thermoform the material into gentle curves, waterfalls and coved upstands. Integrated sinks and drainer grooves are moulded directly into the surface, so cleaning is a single wipe and there is nowhere for water to sit. The non-porous finish shrugs off spills, and light scratches can be buffed out over the years — a worktop that keeps its looks.

Solid surface for bathrooms and commercial spaces

The same qualities make solid surface ideal well beyond the kitchen. In bathrooms we craft seamless vanity tops, moulded basins and shower trays; for hotels, healthcare, laboratories and hospitality we supply hygienic, hardwearing reception desks, wall cladding and wet-area surfaces. Because the material is non-porous and thermoformed in one piece, it meets the hygiene demands of clinical and food environments while still looking refined.
